GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE – CIRCUIT PAUL RICARD 1000KM
- The Circuit Paul Ricard 1000km marked the second round of the 2022 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup
- With the combined qualifying result, Jordan and his teammates lined up in P5 in the Silver Cup
- The team, unfortunately, lost 40 seconds at the first pit stop and dropped well down the order
- However, a sublime recovery from the team saw them bounce back to finish P5 in class and P16 overall – scoring their first points of the season
- The championship now heads to Spa-Francorchamps for the highlight event of the season – TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa (28 – 31 July)
“I think this weekend was a case of the result not matching our full potential. After losing 40 seconds at the first pit stop, we dropped well down the 54 car order. The team and my teammates did a fantastic job as we all pushed on and managed to recover to finish P5 in class and P16 overall – which is a really positive result considering where we were at the start. We know there is more to come from us all, so bring on Spa next month!”– Jordan Love
